We do not have any offshore company that is a shareholder of Maderera Bozovich S.A.C. and we categorically reject any insinuation in that sense. The history of our shareholding structure dates back to the decisions made by the founder of the company, our grandfather Batrich Bozovich Merdovich (who passed away in 2005), as well as by our father Drago Bozovich Balarin (who passed away in 2001) and our uncle Boris Bozovich Balarin (who ceased to be a shareholder in 2010). For security, confidentiality and succession planning reasons, they adopted a corporate structure that included offshores, a completely legal practice. However, this structure was left aside by the current generation and was never intended to evade taxes or engage in irregular practices.
