Under the leadership of Ivo Bozovich and Drago Bozovich, Maderera Bozovich has initiated the certification process for the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program as an Exporter, driven by the Customs Administration.

As participants in the AEO Program, we promote the standardization of security procedures among companies involved in the “foreign trade logistics chain,” working together to establish a secure supply chain. We are pleased to share that joining the AEO program aims to:

  1. Facilitate and secure international trade through the implementation of minimum security standards, providing businesses with benefits such as simplified procedures.
  2. Help companies control their processes and ensure the traceability of their supply chains, enhancing competitiveness at both the company and national levels. This fosters responsibility for secure foreign trade operations, minimizing and preventing risks such as cargo contamination through container security processes and load monitoring and supervision.
  3. Enable the Customs Administration to manage risk more effectively, focusing efforts on high-risk operators and operations.
  4. Strengthen the relationship between the private sector and the Customs Administration, creating a partnership against criminal activity.
  5. The AEO certification is granted upon meeting four (4) key conditions: A satisfactory track record of compliance with current regulations, An adequate system of accounting and logistics records to ensure operational traceability, Proven financial solvency, A suitable level of security.
